Member, Deprescribing guidelines for the elderly project
Kevin is a co-investigator on OPEN’s deprescribing project, a research study that is piloting and evaluating an emerging interprofessional pharmacist service that has as its goal the development of guidelines to reduce and discontinue drug use in the elderly.
Kevin is an Associate Professor in the Departments of Family Medicine and Epidemiology & Community Medicine and Scientist at Institute of Population Health at the University of Ottawa. He recently led the Canadian Medical Association Journal Canadian Immigrant Health Guidelines, an internationally unique series covering intestinal parasites, malaria, TB, post-traumatic stress disorder, child maltreatment, and other topics relevant for primary care.
Kevin is a member of the Canadian Task Force on Preventive Health Care and the GRADE Methods Working Group. He was also a co-lead on the Ontario IMPACT project, integrating pharmacist into primary care.
